In a piece for IGN, Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies was noted as being a “charming game” and offers plenty to keep users occupied. Available exclusively on a Nintendo DS, the title was picked out as a multiplayer-focused game with the reviewer strongly urging individuals to check out the mode even if they only usually play alone.
